Meet new people, and enjoy a delicious meal based on the gallery exhibit theme! This casual gathering begins at noon with a lunch buffet. A short presentation on the gallery exhibit follows at 12:30. Lunch is by donation and parking is free.
Join Dr. Kate Dellebusch from the BGSU Department of Astronomy & Physics for a star-studded visual lecture about the moon, the stars and all that is happening in space exploration.
“It’s a normal human thing to be curious about the things around us and understand them better, and I think astronomy and cosmology (the study of the universe) is that on the grandest scales,” Dellenbusch said. “On some level, it’s a mystery. In a lot of ways, it’s like a detective story that’s really fun to bring to other people.”
Our themed lunch will be “out of this world” with Satellite Sides and Super Nova Sweets!
Please RSVP to kate@stpaulstoledo.org so we can adequately prepare food for everyone.
The suggested donation is $20 minimum at the door. All proceeds benefit Community HeART of Toledo—our free-lunch program—and other ministries of St Paul’s. Thank you so much for your support!
*Parking is available in the KWIK lot adjacent to the church building, which is handicap accessible. Please see a church staff person for parking validation.
