We’re all strangers but, because of Jesus, we’re all family.

There’s a profound and increasingly shared message out and about that we should not trust each other, that the world is dangerous. Fear will not lead us forward.

The Roman Catholic world mourns the loss of Francis and celebrates Pope Pious XIV. Politics in the USA continues to polarize the people. Wars in various parts of the world are described as the Third World War in pieces. All these things invite us to ponder, ‘Who are we? What do we stand for’?

When Jesus walked this earth 2000 years ago, he shared love with all sorts of people. This radical inclusion got him into all sorts of trouble.

We are living through a transition that could bring about more changes to our society than have been seen in generations. Transitions are uncertain, but when Jesus walked this earth 2,000 years ago, he wasn’t living in a perfect world either.

The Parish House is 100 years old! Imagine what life was like in 1924. Life seems so different now, but people are still aching to be loved and searching to find meaning and purpose in life.
