Opportunities to Learn
Ash Irish poet William Butler Yeats said, “Education is not the filling of a pail, but rather the lighting of a fire.”
Spark your curiosity and ignite a love of learning with our fun and informative events, including our monthly Lunch & Learns!
Join us on the third Thursday of each month as we gather at noon in the HeART Gallery for a speaker, art exhibit and themed lunch on unique topics of interest. Reservations are appreciated, as are donations to offset the cost of meal service.

Social Ministries
Community Heart Café
Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays 10:00AM – 11:00AM
St. Paul’s welcomes all to enjoy a hot meal, a place to sit and relax, and make meaningful connections with others.
Brunch is served in the Social Room, accessible from the alleyway courtyard. ADA accessibility is available from the parking lot entrance. When the weather permits, additional seating is available outside in the alleyway courtyard.
Pastor Pete prays over the meal and is available for pastoral care. Donations of home-baked goods, personal and feminine hygiene items, and socks are always appreciated.
Youth Service Learning Camps
During the summer, youth groups from our area and surrounding states attend HeART Gallery for service-learning camps, hosted in partnership with Northwest Ohio Synod and the National Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Students spend the morning at the gallery participating in art and scripture activities. After lunch, groups participate in service projects such as:
- Cleaning community gardens
- Reading at Head Start programs
- Restocking food pantries
- Painting projects for seniors
Through their participation in this program, youth have made a positive impact on the local community and learned skills to take back to their hometowns.
